September 1—4, 2006 — Dragon*Con and American representation

Tom Hern is now in the US. First he's at Dragon*Con in Atlanta and then it's on to LA, where he has landed top representation. Tom is also being recalled for a feature film while he is there.

July 4th, 2006 — Music update #2

A demo track from Tom Hern & Latham Gaines will be released on TomHern.com on the 17th of July and a second one a couple of weeks after that. Remember to leave comments to the support the guys, there's a special page for that.

June 23rd, 2006 — Music update

Word from camp Tom is, that he's working with his buddy Latham Gaines, and they're hoping to release a demo CD at Dragon*Con this September. He says the disc will have probably five tracks on it. Before the release, he's still going to put at least two tracks on this site, as a tempter.

You can still leave him feedback on his music & the latest developments on the special page here. The more interest there is, the better.

Also, Tom mentioned he'll be taking his guitar to Dragon*Con, so there will be a performace or two: All pretty casual though I think, maybe even a jam with Matt Robinson and his mate, he writes.

If you have something to say, you can either comment on the front page or go and post on the forums, there's a subforum for messages meant for Tom.

March 26, 2006 — Dragon*Con 2006

Tom will be attending Dragon*Con for the second time already in September 2006. Go see him and show your support if you're in Atlanta, Georgia at that time.

January 2006 — Shortland Street

Don't forget to catch Tom on Shortland Street if you live in New Zealand or otherwise have access to the show — Tom portrays the Christian nurse Baxter McGormack.

Tom Hern visits The New Tomorrow!

Tom Hern came to visit everyone yesterday. He visited the office for a little while to catch up with old friends and then he headed out to set to meet the new cast and of course catch up with the directors and crew. The cast were excited to meet another actor from The Tribe and enjoyed chatting to him about his days on set. Tom said it was strange being on set again with all the old crew and seeing the young kids in the position he was in a few years ago.

Tom has had a lot of acting work lately on various New Zealand productions and will soon be starting a major role on another New Zealand series.

19th August, 2005 — Old news
These following bits here are something I found the other day. The news has probably been known for some time already, but I haven't added it here.

• JLM has partnered with LA representatives for Tom Hern and Anna Hutchison and Australian agents for Michelle Langstone, Miriama Smith, Sara Wiseman, Aaron Jeffrey, Tom Hern, Nicole Whippy and now Fraser Brown.
• Luanne Gordon is lead along with JLM voice client Scott Wills in Prime TV's 13 x 1 hour episode series Interrogation, produced by South Pacific Pictures, shooting until September. Others featured include Toni Potter in a recurring role and Jennifer Ward-Lealand, Ben Barrington, Tom Hern, Andrew Robertt, Blair Strang and Jeff Szusterman as episode leads ---
• Maddigan's Quest, Margaret Mahy's adaptation's of her kidult book, is in post production. Produced by South Pacific Pictures for CBBC UK, Nine Network Australia and TV3 it features Peter Daube in a core cast role and Lucy Schmidt, Sara Wiseman, Winston Harris, Tom Hern, Lliam Powell and Edwin Wright as guests. It is expected to screen early 2006.

16th Feb 04 — Power Rangers Dino Thunder
Power Rangers Dino Thunder premiered on February 14 with the episode Day of the Dino part 1. Check out the picture gallery for screen caps of Tom's character Devin.

12th Jan 04 — Power Rangers Dino Thunder!
No more rumours (the one below seems to be rubbish), it's official now. The big American role Tom was cast in is in Power Rangers Dino Thunder series. Tom plays a character called Devin Fong. The show premieres on ABC Family February 14 and on ABC February 21. Make sure not to miss out if you have a chance to see it! For more info, check out http://powerrangers-2004.com. 31st Aug 03 — Tom at Dragon*Con in Atlanta
Tom is in Atlanta at the moment, attending Dragon*Con with some fellow Tribe cast members. Lots of cool exclusive material will be on this site soon!

07th Aug 03 — News
From Tribeworld.com: "Tom was in the office for the whole week and as well as take part in the busiest live cast chat we have ever run he replied personally to his emails AND filmed some exclusive interviews for Tribeworld which you'll be seeing on Tribeworld soon!" In the Tribeworld.com cast chat Tom said "I will be releasing something musically in the near future!" We're looking forward to that!

24th April 03 — The Tribe Tour 2003...
... is over for now and Tom is safely back home. The touring tribe returned to Kiwiland on April 10. Visit Tribeworld for tour diaries and pictures from each country. In addition to that, a small piece of (useless) info: Tom no longer has his tongue pierced.

13th March 03 — The Touring Tribe
Tom is touring Europe at the moment, along with James Napier, Meryl Cassie, Danny James, Michael Wesley-Smith, Beth Allen and Antonia Prebble, fellow cast members from the Tribe. For details, pictures and a daily diary, visit Tribeworld.
