Summary: One year of high school. Sounds simple doesn't it? But it turns out not to be so for Ram, Java, Jay, Salene, Pride and Ebony. Ram's got it bad. Java's been hurt. Salene's insecure and Jay is, well Jay. Ebony's got her man in her sights, but Pride is not going to roll over for the feisty spitfire. Add some overly helpful friends and scheming outsiders and you get a school year none of this group will soon forget.

Author's notes: Slightly AU, as I'm pretty much making up Ram's past. Also I'm altering much of the events that took place in the actual Series. Basically it's just weird and not very tribal. So.. Ha! Lyrics sprinkled all over the fic are from various Dir en Grey songs, such as Raison D'etre, Filth and Jealous. (Translations: not by me.)

But Mega can still dream..
Set amidst the chaotic, Zoot crazed madness of Tribe 5, as the Mallrats fight to save the city from the brink of total devastation, secrets and lies and deception are rife. The tide is turning.. the dream is fading.
In the town of Liberty, a rescued Ram is recuperating, and is discovering the true extent of what he has done to people across the city, courtesy of a girl who somehow escaped the same fate as the rest of her tribe. Back in the city, Ebony has become a pawn in Mega's deadly game. She truly believes that Zoot has returned. Love and loss, betrayal, redemption, faith, hope and strength.. all of these are forced to the fore as the plot unfolds. Can a higher, more desperate and passionate alliance defeat the lethal venom of power and chaos?
