Nice guy Christian Baxter Cormack (Tom Hern) gets a makeover this week courtesy of girlfriend Claire Solomon (Emily Robbins) and an unexpected windfall. Much to his surprise, Baxter finds himself the brand new owner of a roll of bank notes, which deceased colleague Li Mei has gifted him. Claire is quick to help him go shopping.

Baxter isn't exactly keen on being a fashion plate. "He's always been an op-shop guy, not a Prada man" says actor Tom Hern, adding that his character would rather give the money away. "He sees financial gain as a burden rather than as a blessing and is so used to giving the little that he has away it becomes an intimidating thought rather than an exciting one."

Baxter may be reluctant but Tom himself would jump at the chance. "I would definitely let my girlfriend shop for me, as long as I don't have to go in to the shop, I would love her to do my shopping for me but I hate shopping, love clothes but hate shopping!"
